In this explosive pencil drawing from 1968, it's double the thrills as our heroes are caught in a chemical android attack by "THEM." Offered here is a truly unbeatable combination -- Kirby, the undisputed "King" of comics, and his most legendary co-creation, the First Avenger. For this slam-bang alternate scene, The "King" penciled his dramatic Marvel Age "cover hook" as a "reverse angle" of the published scene -- with the hallmarked Kirbytech menace facing front, rather than the two heroes. This super-scarce piece of vintage Marvel lore, measuring an overall size of 14" x 23", has been cleaned, and some faint rubber cement staining can scarcely be seen. Carefully value-matched (light grey) logo and text replacements have been added to the drawing to simulate added cover-appeal; otherwise, this Silver Age showpiece presents as Very Good condition.
