Optional Details: This piece, which was originally featured in the fanzine Graphic Showcase is from 1969 and predates all of Wrightson's best-known work. Though quite early, the quality of this art is very strong, however, and really shows the influences on the young artist, most notably Frank Frazetta. Wrightson works from this early date and of such high quality that include horror themes are extremely rare on the market.
